VOLUNTEER INFORMATION
PontiacVotes! works to increase the voter turnout in the City of Pontiac, Michigan through increased utilization of the Permanent Absentee Voter Registry and education about Early Voting opportunities.
During 2025, we will be going door-to-door assisting voters to sign up for the Permanent Absentee Voter Registry. Once signed up, voters will receive their ballots automatically for every election. Eligible citizens who are not registered to vote will be given an opportunity to register.
55% of Pontiac voters stayed home for the 2024 election versus 27% in the rest of Oakland County. Pontiac voices need to be heard in government.
Democracy only works when we vote. All eligible citizens we encounter will be given the same opportunity regardless of their political views.
